Hello! I’m building an n8n workflow to automate replies to Google Business Reviews. I’m starting by trying to fetch account information using the Google Business Profile API (ListAccounts) but consistently hit a 429 “Too Many Requests” error, even with delays implemented. I’ve checked Google Cloud quotas and believe permissions are set correctly.
Hi, i think the easiest way to check what is going on, is to go into your google account and check the API access and stats for this project. it has graphs and other information. Maybe the request per min or sec are not allowed.
Anyway it will give you the best insight in to why it would be a problem.

Hi, yes.
The project needs to be allowlisted to access the Google Business Profile API. This is the reason for the 429 Quota errors. So before using any Google Business Profile API, you need to have a allowlisted project to access them.

Thanks! I just put my form request in and hoping this does the trick.
How long did it take to get approved?
The GMB Team approval took around 2 days. 1 day for confirming the request and then another day for waiting for approval. Did it work for you?
Suprisingly they denied me. Any suggestions:
“We’re currently only granting API access to companies in good standing who work with clients to manage their business location data. Applicants must also meet minimum feature requirements and product guidelines. You haven’t met our requirements at this time.”
