I would like to suggest adding support for Nextbit as an AI tool in n8n’s native options (like OpenAI, Hugging Face, etc.).
Nextbit provides private, EU-hosted, OpenAI-compatible LLMs (e.g., unslopnemo:12b, mixtral, etc.) through both their own API and via OpenRouter.ai. They are fully compliant with OpenAI’s /v1/chat/completions and work perfectly using the HTTP Request node.
It would be amazing to see them appear as an option under the “AI Agent” or “Tool” nodes, so other users can plug their API key or route via OpenRouter and benefit from their models easily — especially those who want fast, private, GDPR-compliant alternatives to OpenAI.
