I’m running into an issue with an agent I built and hope someone can shed some light on it.
I’m using Meta Ads with a “WhatsApp Engagement” campaign objective to drive traffic to my n8n agent. By default, this type of campaign automatically sends an initial greeting message to the user, which appears as if it’s coming from my business number.
The problem is that my n8n workflow is behaving inconsistently. Sometimes it works perfectly, but other times it seems my agent interprets this initial greeting from Meta as a message from me (a human intervention). Since I’ve configured the agent to pause upon human intervention, it just stops and doesn’t proceed with the flow for the new user.
I’ve already tried switching the campaign objective to “Traffic” and using a direct wa.me link, but it seems Meta no longer supports this method for this use case. This means I need to find a solution within my n8n workflow.
