# AI generation not working in the code node - unknown error

Hey … I just set all the environment variables that are needed for AI generation in the code node, and the button shows up. However, it doesn’t generate. Instead, it tells me ‘unknown error’ …

Anyone have an idea ?

It looks like your topic is missing some important information. Could you provide the following if applicable.

- **n8n version:**
- **Database (default: SQLite):**
- **n8n EXECUTIONS\_PROCESS setting (default: own, main):**
- **Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app):**
- **Operating system:**

Very sorry to say, but we had to disable that feature for now. You can read more about it here:
