# Airtable update/upsert node don't handle null values/object

Unable to use Airtable update/upsert node to clear a specified field in the Airtable table. It is now necessary to regularly update Airtable by reading data from Notion. If a certain field content is cleared in Notion, no changes occur internally in AirTable.

Hi @shangzhw, I am sorry you are having trouble. Since this appears to be a duplicate of [Airtable update node cannot update encountering null values](http://community.n8n.io/t/airtable-update-node-cannot-update-encountering-null-values/34284) I’ll close this second thread. We’ll of course update your original thread once an update becomes available.
