An entire workflow from scraping IG to DM and email outreach

hi all,

i’m pretty new to ai automation and i just signed up to n8n. i’m super excited to be here! my first jump is to help my girlfriend with something she does and see if there’s a way to automate this.

here’s the flow and associated questions:

  • pull up 100 ig reels that have #ad or #sponsored hashtags. (do i use apify for this? or can n8n do it natively?)
  • isolate reel posters by their followers (100k+) and go after the mentions/tag of the brand - this step is to identify if a brand is using 100k+ influencers (can i do this in n8n, or do i have to export to google sheet and then get n8n to process there?)
  • scrape the websites of these brands to see if they are online ecommerce brands (which is what i want), and located in UK (for example)
  • if yes, notate about 20 such brands and wait for human approval
  • when approved, go find contacts and put the contact and a personalized email in the gmail draft to be sent

so i guess my biggest questions are

a) can this be done?
b) can this be done natively in n8n or will i need external apps like apify?
c) is there a better way, in your opinion, to do this that’s more cost-effective? cuz i’d think this would cost about $50 per month or so?
