API Error Message: The connection cannot be established, this usually occurs due to an incorrect host (domain) value

Describe the problem/error/question

Hi, I am building the API connection to WhatsApp and Instagram. I followed the steps but encountered an issue when entering the client ID and client secret. I’m sure the credentials are correct. Could someone please help me with this?

What is the error message (if any)?

Hello @Tony168 in order to help please can you share the canvas - most likely there’s an issue with the URL. Is it the Whatsapp or Instagram connection that is failing? and also please provide any screenshots that can support investigation. I’ll try to replicate on my side.

Hi @Jekylls , thanks for your response and support. Both the Whatsapp and Instagram connections are not working for me, so I suspect the issue may be related to the Meta Developer platform. I am using Hugging Face to host my n8n, I am not sure if this could be causing any problems.

Hey @Tony168 it appears an issue isolated to HuggingFace - check this out here - you likely need to report the DNS issue and they should be able to resolve it on their side
