Managing Instagram comment replies and DMs can get overwhelming—fast.
After one of my reels blew up with hundreds of comments, I realised there was no realistic way to reply to everyone manually. Especially when most people were asking the same things: links, resources, or what to do next.
So I built a simple automation using n8n that handles it all for me.
It reads every comment, understands the intent behind it, replies in the right tone, and even sends personalised DMs automatically. All I do is update a Google Sheet—n8n takes care of everything else in the background.
In this video, I’ll break down exactly how this setup works and how you can build the same workflow for your own content. If Instagram is a key part of your lead generation, community building, or growth strategy, this can save you hours every single week.

Solid breakdown in the video. This kind of automation only really shows its value once volume hits.
One thing that usually trips people up when they try to replicate this is intent confidence. If the classifier is even slightly off, you either send the wrong DM or over-automate replies that should stay human.
Curious if you built in a confidence threshold or fallback path for ambiguous comments, especially once the reel spikes and tone get messy.
Also interested in how you’re handling IG rate limits when both comments and DMs fire at the same time.

Thanks for your kind words. Feel free to share your feedback in the video as well.
Seeing that this is the default reply to all comments on your posts, I’m pretty sure we’re getting an indication of your Ai content factory.
Ah, that’s too bad prediction. You can watch the videos first and confirm where is the Ai factory.
