Automate video publishing across various social media platforms

Hello n8n community,

I’m building an n8n workflow to automate video publishing across various social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn).

My main goal is to find out if it’s possible to directly publish these videos to social media platforms from n8n, without needing a paid subscription to a Social Media Management (SMM) tool like Buffer, Later, Agorapulse, etc. I’m curious if the native social media APIs are “n8n-friendly” enough for this.

  • If so, what are the challenges or best practices for achieving this? Do you have any workflow examples or custom nodes you’d recommend?
  • If not (or if it’s too complex/fragile):
    • What are the least expensive solutions among social media management tools that offer a robust API integration or a dedicated n8n node for video publishing?
    • Which sites/tools should I prioritize to minimize costs while ensuring reliable publishing? I’m particularly interested in options with generous free plans or very affordable pricing.

Any help, shared experiences, or advice would be greatly appreciated!

  1. The challenges are, you must get the API key from official social media provider (Facebook, Threads & Instagram from Meta, TikTok, etc.)
  2. After that, you must adjust one by one of the API Key to n8n (Not too hard tho)
