Bugged Google Calendar integration

Good afternoon, everyone. I just started using n8n cloud, but I’m stuck on a step in my workflow and can’t figure it out. I’m building a scheduling bot with Google Calendar, but when I click to add a new credential for Google Calendar, the option to enter the API Key, Client ID, or anything else doesn’t appear—only the option to connect with Google. I don’t know if this is normal, but if anyone can help me, I’d really appreciate it.

Here, i am using a screenshot from my account on n8n cloud, on a smartphone.

Why this authentication method is not a good option for you?
Should work for the majority use cases as long as you use the account that owns the calendars you want to work with.
Using clientid and secret comes with a layer of complexity you may not need.

I’m following tutorials on YouTube, and almost all of them require adding the API credentials. I got stuck at this step because these options don’t appear in my panel. I don’t have much experience, but I tested it yesterday using only Google login, and it didn’t work either.

The tutorials could be outdated.
You can try posting your current version of the workflow you’re trying to build and ask specific questions about the challenges you face.

Best way to post a workflow is by using the </> button here, preferably having some data pinned if you use external APIs.

Got it, thank you very much! I’ll do that when I get home.
