The idea is:
Change “Open nodes panel” shortcut from “N”, which is the new shortcut, back to “Tab”
My use case:
This is the most shortcut that I use in n8n and taking it away like that is not a great experience. At least let us have a settings to change shortcuts. Tab is easier to reach than N in the keyboard.
I think it would be beneficial to add this because:
This will solve the problem with using N as the keyboard shortcut because it’s too far to reach by my left hand while my right hand is in the mouse. I would even say to change any other shortcuts but the Open Nodes Panel. That’s the most useful shortcut in n8n, most used, and thus, should be the most reachable by left hand.
