Cannot share credential

Could not find any posts on this issue.

I have an admin account on a cloud instance.

The share section for an OAuth2 API credential does not show any option for project sharing as stated in the documentation.

Thanks

Hey @Dave_Schafer , your n8n instance version is quite old. Not sure how the sharing option looked like back then (provided you have enterprise license). The latest versions has it as depicted below.

@ihortom
We are running on the n8n cloud instanced. I thought the updates we’re being applied automatically.

There is no option in the menu to manage the instance and apply the updates. Also we don’t have environments available. Is it possible to rollback an update in the event it breaks existing workflows?

Please advise.

Thanks

Hey @Dave_Schafer ,

I thought the updates we’re being applied automatically.

No, you would have to do it yourselves at the time convenient to you. Upgrades typically take a few seconds or a minute.

There is no option in the menu to manage the instance and apply the updates. Also we don’t have environments available.

This is because you are not the owner of the account, Praveen Patel is. You also cannot share anything if you have not created it yourself.

Is it possible to rollback an update in the event it breaks existing workflows?

It depends. Your current workflow is very old and there are some non-backward compatible changes introduced that will prevent you from rolling back.

Please, familiarize yourself with the releases and any breaking changes introduced before upgrading. Also, do back up your workflows just in case too.
