Cannot update any Community Nodes on cloud-hosted n8n

Hey All,

I’m trying to update my Community Nodes (Firecrawl & Exa), but everytime i tap on “update” it doesn’t update to the latest version and says successfully updated to the legacy version.

I’m stuck on Firecrawl version v1.06 for example, and tapping on ‘update’ does nothing. Uninstall and reinstalling the node still installs the legacy version for every community node.

Under the Settings > Community Nodes page, it says all community nodes are already up to date, which is false.

How can I update my community nodes to the latest versions on cloud-hosted n8n?

n8n version == Version 2.1.4

I would ensure that in your admin panel installing community nodes is allowed, which is should be.

Then try restarting the instance through the n8n admin panel, then retry updating it.

I have indeed attempted that. Verified that community nodes is allowed. Restarted the instance and updating the latest version multiple times. Still does not fix. All community nodes for me that I previously installed are stuck on their original legacy version and won’t update even on tapping “update”.

hmm, I’m not sure what to do then. I would contact support but first try clearing your browser cache to see if its a client side issue.
