Chat with the Docs’ button not working in n8n docs (window.Kapa.open is not a function)

Hi Team,

I’m facing an issue with the “Chat with the Docs” feature in the n8n documentation. When I click on the button, nothing happens on the UI.

However, I do see the following error in the browser console:

3try-it-out/:44448 Uncaught TypeError: window.Kapa.open is not a function
at HTMLButtonElement.onclick

Has anyone encountered this issue before, or can someone help identify what might be causing it?

I just checked it now and it works fine, can you try a different browser and see, try on incognito mode and let me know if the issue still persists.

Hey @mpradeep, could you try clearing your browser cache and reloading the docs page? Also, which browser and version are you using? The Kapa.open error might be related to browser compatibility or timing in how the widget loads.

Hi, I just retried in incognito window in chrome browser, I am still facing the same issue.

If this doesn’t load, your network may be blocking the service.
