Chats have been having issues since 2.19

This is a delay i get since the updates of 2.19 when there was for me 2 updates per day some days, i was staying up to date with them and one of them broke this chat feature.
It was last week when it broke, some time around going from 2.18 → 2,19, i use the chat function and call claude api for some assistance you can chat to the api, but the attachment upload is greyed out, and if you send a few commands it will come back.
This was never the case, it was always available instantly.
Eventually it will populate, but it takes 1-5minutes where previous it was instant. Credentials all connect success its nothing to do with that. None of my start config changed.

What happen if you roll back to 2.18.x ?

hi @SonnyHood
i recommend using the current stable version, i can see here that you’re using 2.20.7-exp.0
that’s not a good idea

ohh really it pulls it when i download latest?
It shows up saying you are 1 update behind so i update this is what it got?

Im not in a hurry, just want someone to figure it out in a future patch.

I appreciate the patches they have done and they look important
I can work around it and live with it in the short term.
Theres been maybe 4 or 5 updates since it started and has not been fixed.

@SonnyHood

I didn’t quite understand your question, but what I can add is that you need to have the stable n8n version, which is currently 2.20.6

docker pull n8nio/n8n
Using default tag: latest
latest: Pulling from n8nio/n8n
Digest: sha256:ab26afca1a78fdb9b042eb6285565b869cdf1fd9c465cdcd9e2e5e7f764957d3
Status: Image is up to date for n8nio/n8n:latest

This is the SHA tag from Image Layer Details - n8nio/n8n:latest
Under n8n:latest?
I dont select experimental versions? This a problem with docker?

github also lists this as latest stable?

@SonnyHood follow via Release notes | n8n Docs

seems like this is not updated as often as github release page.
Its pulled a new update maybe someone pushed it as stable by mistake.
But its on 2.20.9 now which is current latest stable

not sure is someone in dev is lurking and reading and didnt reply or what the story but i tried it today in the exp and it wasnt working, tried an update and it updated to 2.20.9 and suddenly the AI models all show up instantly again, attachments are available all seems well.
Working again
