Code-node task runner failing for hours — all Code-node workflows failing

Hi,

I’m on n8n Cloud and all Code nodes across all my workflows have been timing out for the past 6 hours. Nothing changed on my end.

Error message:
“Task request timed out after 60 seconds. Your Code node task was not matched to a runner within the timeout period.”

This affects every single workflow with a Code node, including minimal test cases.

Details:

  • Instance type: n8n Cloud
  • All workflows affected
  • Code node language: JavaScript
  • No recent changes on my end
  • No stuck executions in the Executions list

@Jeanne_Mathe-Cathala on cloud you dont control the task runners, n8n manages them, so “not matched to a runner” across every code node for 6h with no changes on your end is a platform-side runner issue, not anything in your workflows. so theres nothing to fix in your setup, raise it with support at help@n8n.io with your workspace url + that exact error, and check n8ns status page. if your dashboard has a restart option thats worth a shot while you wait.
