Commercial use of n8n

The implemented automation uses private CRMs (i.e., customer CRMs) on a separate private server (one server = one customer). In this case, is it necessary to pay for anything? Or is it permitted? If it is permitted, you can include provisions in the contract that allow this.

This automation will be sold to customers, but one customer = 1 server, for each customer n8n will be on a different server and individually customized according to their data and requirements.

In this case, you will need the Enterprise license, as you are charging others to use it.

Please mark this as solved if it helped

What if the client does not have access to the n8n interface? That is, they simply know that automation is working, but without access to the interface.

I think it still falls under not allowed, as you are not working with your own company data but rather allow other customers to work with n8n through a proxy, with their own data.

This is actually clear:

Our license restricts use to “internal business purposes”. In practice this means all use is allowed unless you are selling a product, service, or module in which the value derives entirely or substantially from n8n functionality.
