Could you please help me with the Community Edition activation?
I successfully registered and I have an activation key. A few months ago, I used this key on my local Docker setup, but I lost that container. Now I am being asked to register and activate again, and when I try to activate, I get an error.
Activation key has already been used on this instance
How can I resolve this?

Hi @Hemant_Shelar Welcome to the community!
That errors means that your community n8n instance is already activated to validate that please goto settings > Usage and Plans and there you will see Registered
This would confirm that your docker n8n instance is registered on the free community lisence!
hey @Hemant_Shelar the error message is a bit confusing here, it’s saying the key was already used “on this instance” but what’s actually happening is that the key is tied to your old container that no longer exists. Since you lost that container the activation is basically orphaned. You’ll want to reach out to [email protected] and explain the situation, they can reset the activation so you can use the key on your new instance. Make sure to mention the activation key you have and that the original container was lost.
