That message just means the node is already installed, so you can’t install it again.
The “button in the UI” it’s mentioning is the Update button sitting on the main Community Nodes list right behind that pop-up.
You don’t need to do anything else in this menu. Just close the settings, go back to your workflow canvas, and search for the node to start using it.

If you are trying to update a node and it is giving you this error, consider restarting your n8n instance that worked for me on cloud and on self hosted both. Also consider updating to the latest version just in case if that node is not supported in older versions.
That error just means the node is already on your instance so it won’t let you install it twice. If you close that dialog and go back to the workflow canvas, try searching for “upload post” in the node panel (the + button) and it should show up ready to use. If it doesn’t show up for some reason, go to Settings > Community Nodes, find the package there, uninstall it through the options menu, and then do a fresh install.
That message just means the node is already installed on your instance. Go to Settings > Community Nodes in the sidebar and you should see it listed there, if it’s not showing up in your workflows try uninstalling it from that page, restart n8n, then reinstall it fresh.
