Confirmations/Approvals for Tool use

I want to have a tool for sending an email using Gmail however I want the user to see and confirm the email before it is sent and possibly even edit it beforehand.
Is this possible with n8n?

I see there are ‘Human in the loop’ nodes, however they can not be added between the AI Agent and Tool and there is also no option for the chat node.

Here @maxT & @Angel live-build the complete automation workflow using n8n that:

  • Automatically categorizes incoming LinkedIn messages
  • Routes requests to the right team members
  • Gives you human-in-the-loop approval before sending responses (where use can also update the message on the fly)
  • Integrates with Slack for seamless team collaboration

In your case you will just replace the linkedin messages with emails.
