Forms are highly useful as input nodes. They allow for the user input to be precisely constrained and then passed downstream, especialy to AI nodes.
But…
Nobody enjoys completing forms!
Products like Typeform (et al) exist largely for this reason: it’s nicer to “talk” your form completions to a bot than it is to fill out a form.
If this could be implemented as a default / pre-built node (Ai agent is provided with form values to capture and then questions the user appropriately, then passes that as output) … it would be great
My use case:
Use the form input node all the time. Could/can use Typeform (etc) but am trying hard not to have to deploy, use, and subscribe to 100 different tools just to make automations work.
So in my use-case … it’s not about “this doesn’t exist elsewhere” it’s about … “could we condense this into native N8N tooling”
I think it would be beneficial to add this because
I suspect many others are fighting tool-spread and would find this helpful
