My team member (Admin) in the same workspace created a Data Table and included it in a workflow. Me, as the workspace Owner, cannot see or access this Data Table. The workflow itself including a data table node referencing this table only works when transferring the ownership of the worklfow from me to my team member, as the data table otherwise cannot be accessed.
What is the error message (if any)?
When clicking the ‘go-to’ icon for the data table from the data table node, I get this error:
Error fetching data table details
User is missing a scope required to perform this action
I think data tables in n8n are generally accessible to all team members within the same project, except for tables created in a Personal space, which are only accessible by their creator. If your team member (Admin) created the data table in their Personal space, you as the workspace Owner would not be able to see or access it.
Creating in a shared project would give access? Asking myself…
Thanks for your reply. Seems fair. We both work in the same workspace without using the ‘project’ feature. So we both create and work on workflows, and they are (by default] visible to both of us. Perhaps for Data Tables, this set-up does not work? Still wonder why there is a difference between workflows and data tables in terms of visibility to other team members.
I guess we then need to create a project and migrate everything to it. However, the data table does not have a ‘move’ option
