When people are launching new businesses or products, it is common for them to want a domain name to go along with it. But, if you are looking at doing this on a regular basis, it can be helpful to automate the process.
This is exactly why I built a workflow that can search GoDaddy for a domain name and let you know if it is available or not. You can get a copy of the workflow here.
As you can see from the image above, you will also be needing a GoDaddy API key which you can register for here.
To use the workflow:
- Enter your API key information into the GoDaddy API Keys node
- Add the domain you are looking for into the Domain Search node
- Execute the workflow
Depending on the availability of the domain, you will receive various information such as whether it is available or not and the asking price if it is.
This workflow can easily be integrated into other workflows.
