Is there a draw annotation feature that lets me draw like arrows if I’m explaining the flow to someone? I’ve seen a youtuber called “Jono Catliff” use it in his videos and it look allot like its a feature from n8n, supper clean, but I cant find it anywhere even in n8n documentations.
Hi @N_Ib Welcome!
Just to clarify that currently n8n does not have a freehand drawing tool kind of, what you can do as a documentation within flow is by using Sticky Notes:
although if you need more customization than that like you have to showcase your flow and also you have to showcase some text there, so you can try the project i am actively working on which is Nexus:
https://axshul.site/Nexus/
This is really not done but can be enough to take screenshots or export PNGs let me know what works.
OR what i really use is https://excalidraw.com/ for showcasing people that what actually i am gonna do in the flow as a high level overview.
And what you are referring as that YouTube guy, he might be using LOOM recorder’s features like draw stuff while recording so that is what you can also use.
Hey @Anshul_Namdev , thank you for your reply! I’m already familiar with sticky notes, but I wanted to share the video I was referring to “https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AURnISajubk” the drawing feature appears around the 21:45 mark. If anyone can identify the tool he’s using, that would be greatly appreciated (I don’t think its “LOOM”). Thanks again!
@N_Ib Although this seems like ScreenBrush or ZoomIt, but ofc i cannot be very sure. I guess it is ScreenBrush
