This is most likely an issue from the provider, not n8n.
In many cases, unofficial providers run into problems because their OpenAI-compatible implementations aren’t always correct..
There’s nothing much you can do on your side.
You can try using the Anthropic Chat Model node as well and see if it works.
As general advice, it’s best to stick to official providers or use OpenRouter for more reliability.
