# Error connecting to n8n Docker

Have 2 Docker Container on 2 different Docker Hosts.

One ist working fine and the other gives this error both have the same docker-compose.yaml

Docker Logs

n8n-1 | Permissions 0644 for n8n settings file /home/node/.n8n/config are too wide. This is ignored for now, but in the future n8n will attempt to change the permissions automatically. To automatically enforce correct permissions now set N8N\_ENFORCE\_SETTINGS\_FILE\_PERMISSIONS=true (recommended), or turn this check off set N8N\_ENFORCE\_SETTINGS\_FILE\_PERMISSIONS=false.

It might be issue in ENV so kindly add below ENV in your docker-compose.yml file.

environment:
  - DB_SQLITE_POOL_SIZE=5
  - N8N_RUNNERS_ENABLED=true
  - N8N_ENFORCE_SETTINGS_FILE_PERMISSIONS=true
  - N8N_GIT_NODE_DISABLE_BARE_REPOS=true

I recognize browser Issues: Using the same browser on one n8n docker container running in my lokal LAN - everything ist fine. while accessing a second instance running offsite via a wireguardes vpn connection to this machine it throws Browser errors.

Current Setup uses no reverse Proxy (no nginx/ no traefik) due to the fact that it is a local testing env.

Downgraded to version 1.73.1 solved the issue, after that i upgrades to latest version - trying to pull higher versions so far it works with latest after interims downgrade of container - the hell knows why browser had issues with this.

Afterwards i switched back to latest Version and that woked too - strange behaviour
