Every time I try to activate my workflow I get a obj error

I keep getting this error when I try to activate my workflow:

Workflow could not be activated:

There was a problem activating the workflow: “Unknown alias: obj”

Everything is running fine when I test it, and I have now been debugging for a while, but still I have no idea where the problem lies, so I am assuming it is a bug.

I have tried all the usual tweaks like debugging, putting it into a new workflow, clearing my cache, etc. I have run deep analysis on my JSON with Claude, o3 and Gemini. No one can find the error.

It is running in the n8n cloud. It was working fine, all of a sudden it turned itself inactive and the I can no longer activate it.

Any smart people in here with a good idea?

Thanks Farhan. I will be happy to see if you can help. I will book you in for a quick sesh.

I’m having the same issue, did you find a fix already?

same error here

It is because of the Schedule Trigger.

Just change the value and revert it.

I was having the same issue quite often and I was unable to locate the issue for a couple of weeks. This solved it. Thanks a lot @shan_muhammed! It seems that is some kind of a bug in the platform, every time you activate it you should re-select the parameters in the schedule trigger.

Thank you so much, I couldn’t figure out what the problem was for a long time. After I removed pinned from the schedule trigger, everything started working
