Feature request – “Add to LinkedIn profile” for course completion certificates

Context

I just completed QS101 n8n Quickstart and received a completion certificate. Right now there’s no easy way to put it on my LinkedIn profile.

Request

Add a one-click “Add to LinkedIn profile” option for course certificates, using LinkedIn’s Add to Profile (Licenses & Certifications) integration – plus a shareable certificate URL and a credential ID so it can be verified.

Why this helps n8n

  • Free, organic promotion: every learner who adds the certificate puts “n8n Quickstart” in front of their whole network.
  • Social proof for the courses: visible certifications encourage others to take them.
  • Brand reach: it markets both n8n Academy and n8n the product to a professional audience that’s likely to adopt automation tools.
  • Standard expectation: Coursera, LinkedIn Learning, and most course platforms already offer this, so learners look for it.

Low effort to implement (LinkedIn provides a ready Add-to-Profile URL format), high marketing upside. Would love to see it.

All courses get a verifiable badge that you can add to linkedIn. Which is available at badges.n8n.io register using the same email address you used for the academy and it’ll pick up your qs101 badge.

Our email campaign has now been activated and whenever you finish and pass a course, you will recieve an email related to the badge.
