My lead build is an n8n-based monitoring system that ran 90 days in production, checked itself every 60 seconds, and survived three deliberate attempts to kill it: forced shutdowns, broken scripts, network drops. It detected each failure, proposed a fix, and routed it to a human for approval over Telegram before anything executed. Recovered from all three without a rebuild. One thing I do differently: you own the workflows. A lot of automation gets delivered with a hidden maintenance contract attached — the builder is the only one who can fix it, so every breakage is another invoice. I think that’s a design choice, not a requirement. Everything I hand off runs on your n8n instance and your accounts, with documentation any developer can pick up. Ongoing support is available if you want it, never required to keep your system alive.
