Free no-credentials lead scoring + outreach draft workflow (human review only)

I built this credential-free workflow to test the logic of a lead-scoring and outreach-draft pipeline before connecting Google Sheets, Gmail, a CRM, or an AI provider.

What it does

  • creates three synthetic leads using example.com addresses
  • normalizes the lead fields
  • applies transparent deterministic scoring
  • produces draft outreach copy marked for human review
  • returns a compact pipeline summary

What it deliberately does not do

  • no scraping
  • no credentials
  • no real contacts
  • no AI/API cost
  • no email sending

I import-tested and executed this version on n8n 2.22.6. It is meant as an acceptance-test layer, not a production cold-email system.

Run it

  1. Copy the workflow JSON below.
  2. Paste it into a blank n8n canvas.
  3. Open Manual Trigger and execute the workflow.
  4. Inspect Build Pipeline Summary; each draft should say Human review required.

Before production I would add a Sheets/CRM source, duplicate checks, structured AI output plus raw-response logging, a 2xx/allowlist gate for website research, Gmail draft creation, stop-on-reply rules, and a daily report. I would still test one sample row before any batch.

This is the no-credentials demo layer from a larger system I am building. If you try it, I would especially value feedback on whether your first source is Google Sheets or a CRM, and which guardrail you usually add first.
