Frequent Sign-Out Issue with Supabase and n8n Self-Hosted Using GitHub Authentication

Hello,

I am experiencing an issue where I am frequently signed out of Supabase and my self-hosted n8n instance at the same time. Here are the details:

  • System: macOS (latest version)
  • Browser: Chrome (latest version)
  • Authentication Method: GitHub Authentication

The issue occurs unexpectedly and without any error messages. I find it odd that both Supabase and n8n log me out simultaneously, suggesting a possible connection between the two.

Is this a known issue with GitHub Authentication? Or could there be another reason for this behavior? Any guidance or troubleshooting steps would be appreciated.

Hi @nusquama,

What do you mean by being signed out frequently from n8n and supabase? There’s no option to login to n8n with Github, so are you seeing that the user is unauthorised inside the node? Would be great if you could share a bit more details or updates if you have any!
