Hello, GitHub Trigger only works with repositories that i own? I wanted to use it to check releases on other repos that are not my own

Do actually not know exactly how GitHub handles that but I think you have to be at least an admin or member.
In fact i am not member or anything, i just wanted to have the trigger to receive when there is a new release on a certain repository. I guess i should use RSS Feed to accomplished that?
Yes that would probably the best in this case.
For reference, it seems to depend on whether the owner set up the right scope for the repository.
