Gmail node still sends old display name after Google account name change

Hi,

I recently changed the profile name of my Google account. When I send emails manually through Gmail, recipients see the new name correctly.

However, when I send emails using n8n’s Gmail node (with Gmail OAuth2 credentials), recipients still see my old name in the “From” field. I have tried deleting and recreating Gmail OAuth2 credentials in n8n, but the issue is still there.

Can you help me to resolve this?

Hi @Vahe_Vahanyan when you authenticate via Oauth2 google cache certain details from the account in the Oauth token like your old profile name.

I will advise you try revoking the existing Oauth token, let me know if this works.
