Hi there, I’m having an issue with my N8n instance where my google calendar node credential selection seems to be missing fields. I have made the relevant Client in google and have my Client_Id, Client_Secret and callback URI setup but when clicking on the credential there is no option to input this information.
I’ve looked at videos of people setting this node up and they seemingly have this field. I’m not sure if I have somehow messed up my Google OAuth setup and would appreciate any help!
Hi Michiel, not stupid at all, when I click the sign in with Google option I get the usual Google login screens and it does let me continue but my issue is then that my token expires daily. It would be fine if it was personal but I can’t have a user for the workflow log in each day.
That is real strange indeed. Okay so you press sign in with google. I’m currently going through my sign in. You get a not trusted screen (In my case) if you continue you get a screen that says something like, this app/site would like to have access to your google account. Continue, and that’s it. Do you see any other screens? Sometimes you get a screen where you must give permission to do actions from n8n to google. You have to check the boxes and accept.
I get through the sign in with google steps fine when it’s using my account. The issue I’m having is that, to my understanding, you should be able to give OAuth credentials on the google calendar node creation so that you won’t need to renew this sign in as often.
