Header and Footer in Google Docs

Hi, i cloned a google doc based on a google doc template and formatted the data to output and email to a receiver

The google doc content has a header and footer

However, i realised the cloned google doc file sent out doesn’t contain a header and footer. Any way, i can insert the header and footer to the cloned google doc?

I’ve done the same and not had an issue. Double check the doc you’re cloning and check that the header and footer are “normal”. You might need to recreate the template you’re cloning and manually insert the header and footer elements to “set” the template.

Thanks! I found the issue. The item that wasn’t showing in the header and footer was a drawing object. I created an image out of the drawing and inserted it into the header and it is working nicely now! Thanks for your advise, greatly appreciate
