Hey everyone,
I have been lurking here for a while, quietly pulling ideas and fixes out of this forum, and it felt like time to say hello and start giving back.
A bit about me. I have been around technology my whole life. My father was an engineer at NASA, and I grew up with a computer in my hands. That pulled me into enterprise network engineering, which is still how I think about systems: what talks to what, where it breaks, and how to make it boring and reliable. From there I moved through business development and leadership roles on the technology side. The last few years I have been heads down on AI automation, and n8n has become the first tool I reach for on almost everything I build.
Why I am posting: I want to be more active here. I plan to share build experience and real workflows, the actual patterns and the things that bit me, not just the happy path. I have pulled a lot of value from people in this community doing exactly that, and I would like to return the favor.
I am a big believer in not gatekeeping knowledge. Sharing makes everyone's builds better, and honest community feedback makes a product better too. That is a lot of why I care about open source, and part of why n8n clicks for me: the workflows are portable, you can actually read them, and you can hand one to someone else. I would rather post a workflow and have ten people improve it than keep it in a drawer.
To put some action behind that, I am starting to curate my n8n workflows in the open (MIT), and I just open-sourced one of my larger pipelines with a full writeup. More to come. Happy to break any of it down or compare notes:
