Issue: I’m using n8n on my Mac. When adding Helpscout account, the callback to url given by n8n ends up in 404 initially. After a few hours, it works. Why does this happen?

A few hours seems very long tbh, but some services simply take a while to propagate such changes across all the relevant points in their network. I frequently encounter this with Salesforce for example, where creating a new OAuth2 app takes quite a while for my account. With others, it’s almost instantly.
I don’t think there is much you could do about this unfortunately. The good news is you should usually only have to do this once though.
Hi @MutedJam, thanks for your help. So it was helpscout taking a little time to create a new oauth2 account. I thought it was something wrong I did to one of the settings.
