Hi, I am interested if you are still considering candidates for a trial task.

I am strongest on small, inspectable n8n/AI workflows: API calls, prompt/JSON outputs, Google Sheets/Drive, content/research pipelines, error notes, and handoff docs. I would prefer to start with one paid test workflow rather than overstate experience.

For a trial, I can build or debug one contained workflow in a sandbox and return the exported JSON, test cases, setup notes, and a short explanation of the data flow.

What kind of first task do you usually use to evaluate developers?

Hi Magic — I saw your n8n AI automation role. The fit for me is the reliability side of AI workflows: prompts, APIs, state, logs, retries, and human approval gates so workflows keep working after the demo.

If I were joining, I’d first look for:

  1. Which workflows are production-critical vs experimental.
  2. Where AI output is currently unvalidated before downstream actions.
  3. Which API calls need retries/idempotency/error reporting.
  4. Where a small Python/FastAPI helper service would be safer than forcing everything into n8n nodes.
  5. How to document each workflow so another operator can maintain it.

Relevant background:

A good first paid test could be: take one existing AI workflow, add schema validation + failure logging + retry/handoff path, and document it. If useful, I can record a short Loom walkthrough.

Hi, I’m interested in this role.

I’ve been building n8n-based AI automation systems for 3+ years as a freelancer — Telegram AI agents with document knowledge bases, RAG pipelines (vector embeddings + retrieval) for large document sets, and cross-platform content automation with API integrations (LLM providers, messaging platforms, social media).

Recent relevant work: diagnosed and fixed a production issue where expiring integration tokens were silently breaking scheduled automations — built an automated token-refresh workflow to eliminate the downtime. Also self-hosted and maintained n8n in Docker on a VPS before moving to managed hosting.

Comfortable with prompt engineering across Claude, OpenAI, and Gemini. Background in IT infrastructure (10 years) before moving into automation, so I care about workflows that don’t silently fail.

I’ve built and maintained n8n systems involving IMAP/Gmail, LLM-generated replies, Google Sheets tracking, Telegram approval, SMTP sending, API integrations and an automated AI-video pipeline. My strongest area is tracing failures, testing safely in duplicate workflows and documenting the final handover.
