Hey everyone, I’m currently learning how to build AI-based solutions and automations.
But there’s one major challenge that’s been holding me back from pitching to clients — integration fear.
Whenever I build something, I start worrying about what happens after delivery —
like integrating the AI system into the client’s PC, website, or app.
My fear is:
What if something breaks (bug, plugin issue, or API failure)?
What if I can’t fix it quickly, since I don’t have a full tech team yet?
How do professionals handle such cases without losing client trust?
I know technical issues take time to solve, but I want to build a structured and reliable process to manage them as a solo AI builder.
So, my question is:
How do you manage post-delivery technical risks or bugs when deploying AI solutions to clients — especially when you’re working solo or without a dev team?
Would love to learn your approach or any best practices you follow. ![]()
Hi @Udaya_Amle
Actually, the fact that you’re “worried” is a good thing, it means you’re thinking critically and planning for worst-case scenarios, That mindset is valuable and quite unique!
That’s something every software or service deals with. As long as you build solid error handling and logging, it’s completely manageable.
“Quickly” is subjective, what matters most is setting clear support boundaries and timelines with your clients early on. That helps manage expectations.
There’s no single rule here, but honesty and respect always go a long way..
Clients usually appreciate transparency and clear communication more than instant fixes.
It really depends on your delivery model, whether you’re offering it as a service or handing off a workflow..
In either case, having documentation, monitoring, and a clear post-delivery plan helps a lot..
So, just start and with time, you’ll naturally gain the confidence and experience to handle these situations more easily..
Thanks a lot, @Mohamed3nan — that really helped me see things clearly. ![]()
I’m curious, how did you handle your first real error or bug when you were starting out?
Did you have any specific process or mindset that helped you stay calm and fix it?
