How to provide access to n8n of specific Google drive file

I’m trying to grant access of specific files in my Google drive to n8n. I don’t want to grant full access of my entire Google drive. My n8n workflow just needs one spreadsheet.

Under credentials, I tried connecting with my Google account.

After clicking on Sign in with Google, a window pops up and I have options to grant different kinds of access. I chose the one about give access to certain files.

Here, it says “See, edit, create and delete only the specific Google Drive files that you use with this app”, but I’m not sure how “use with this app” is defined. The connection was successful but how do I grant access to that spreadsheet?

I think you can use a service account for this.
But I usually do things like this by simply creating an account for the integration and connecting that. Then it is simply done by sharing with that account.
