Hi im starting to use n8n with Claude. And i would appriciate on help on setting correctly with the latest mcp with Claude.
Hi @Jeffery_Delpin Welcome!
Assuming you want Claude driving your n8n instance, the current route is n8n’s built-in MCP server. Enable it under Settings > Instance-level MCP > Enable MCP access, then select Connect, pick your client on the OAuth tab and copy the Server URL it shows.
In Claude Desktop, add that URL under Settings > Connectors > Add custom connector, then authorize when it prompts. On Claude Code it is one command, then /mcp to finish the sign in:
claude mcp add --transport http n8n https://<your-n8n-domain>/mcp-server/http
Claude only gets previews of your workflows until you toggle “Available in MCP” on each one, and only published workflows with a webhook, form, schedule, or chat trigger can be enabled.
