How to sign in to new n8n academy?

I am back after a screen break and wanting to re-learn n8n and try out stuff. Saw a new n8n academy page. It has sign in and Register options..which one should I choose? I already have an old n8n community account which is this one I am using as well as I have finished the previous tutorial courses too which had credentials for course mailed to me.

So do I need to Register afresh on this new page or my community login works? Cause in sign in I only see the option for username/ email and password…I logged in through gmail/github..:slightly_smiling_face:there is no password..:slightly_smiling_face:

@Memoire , you should register as it will be your first time signing in

Hey @Memoire, to expand on kjooleng’s answer, yes, you’ll need to Register on the new Academy page since it’s a separate login system from your community forum account.

On the password confusion: since you originally signed in via Google/GitHub, you likely never set a traditional password, that’s normal for OAuth logins, not a bug on your end. When registering on the new Academy, you can usually pick Sign up with Google or Sign up with GitHub as well (look for those buttons near the email/password form) to keep using the same login method without needing to create a new password.

On your finished courses: the new Academy is a separate platform, so previous course completions and credentials likely won’t carry over automatically. If you want your old progress recognized, it’s worth emailing support@n8n.io or creators@n8n.io with the email you used previously, they may be able to manually link or verify your completed courses on the new system.

Thanks for the response to both of you.

Yes, I want my previous certificates to be carried over here so I was looking to register with the same email. Though, I do not see any option to sign up using Google or github so I was worried it might create an absolutely new account with no connection to previous data from old courses and badges.

I’ll email as you suggested.
