# How to use https://chutes.ai provider model in ai agent?

I want to use [https://chutes.ai/](https://chutes.ai/) as my AI agent model provider. How can I do it?

Hey @rajubepary hope all is well.

It appears that chutes.ai offer [API access](https://chutes.ai/docs/api-reference/overview), so what you could do is you could communicate with this service over REST API by using HTTP Request node.

Hi @rajubepary , welcome to the :n8n: community!

If Chutes is an OpenAI-compatible API, then all you need to do is add OpenAI connection and update the “Base URL” to `https://api.chutes.ai/v1`

I am getting a length error repeatedly, regardless of the input prompt.

Hmm, maybe it has some limitations,  
Could you try using it like the “Message a model” node?
