Hubspot Insufficient Scopes

I am trying to connect my account to HubSpot to watch for new contacts created. I am getting the following message:

Couldn’t complete the connection

Insufficient scopes were provided. Please contact the app developer.

Here are the scopes I have selected.

For HubSpot Developer API is click the Get HubSpot API from the APP screen and copied the API key at the top.

I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.

I am sorry you’re having trouble. Hubspot is very finicky about the OAuth2 scopes, but your list seems accurate. Is there a chance you have simply mixed up some of the IDs and secrets? Especially the developer API key is easy to mix up with a regular API key (see this post for a screenshot).

This is the API key I am using, I got it from the Get HubSpot API button

I got it! I had changed the scope on the wrong app
