I am facing problem while running n8n on windows 7 machine, what could be a solution ?

Hey @Ankita_Sahani Welcome to the n8n community! Newer n8n versions need modern Windows and newer Node.js versions, so Windows 7 often runs into errors.

solutions:

  • Run n8n on a supported OS like Windows 10/11, Linux, or macOS.

  • Use Docker on a supported system and run n8n inside a container.

  • Or use n8n Cloud, which removes the need to manage your own setup. (Recommended]

Since Windows 7 isn’t supported anymore, moving to a newer environment is the most reliable fix.
