I need help using "Continue (using error output)" option in Firestore node

Apologies if this has been discussed already, I have tried searching this forum and could not find a topic describing the same issue I am having.

I have a Firestore node set up with option “Continue (using error output)”:

In my last execution, the node failed with an error:

However in that same execution, the node sent the output to the “success” output, not to the “error” output:

Can anyone let me know what am I doing wrong?

Running via docker
OS: AWS ECS container
