IMAP Reads the Mail but Doesnt Trigger on Production Env

Hey,

My IMAP module with a spesific mail address works fine on test environment and production environment. It triggers when there is a new mail.

But with a spesific mail address, it doesn’t work on the production environment.

Although it reads the mail, it cannot trigger the mail on n8n after it reads.

(I’m sure that IMAP module reads it because I tried to chose “Nothing” option to not make it read)

I can only trigger this mail address with IMAP Node on test environment;

It reads the new mail;

My workflow settings;

What would be the problem?

Information on your n8n setup

  • n8n version:Version 0.219.0
  • Database (default: SQLite):
  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main):
  • Running n8n via (Docker):
  • Operating system:Linux

Hey @onurbolaca,

I guess the first thing to do would be to work out what is different between the environments, If it works on one but not the other it would point to something environmental or that is at least where I would start.

Have you enabled debug logging to see if that shows anything?

Hey @Jon,

Thanks for comment,

  1. What do you mean by environments / environmental ?
  2. How to enable debug logging?

Hey @onurbolaca,

By environments / environmental I mean that you mentioned it does work in a test environment but not the production environment so to me this would suggest there is something difference between the 2 and that would be worth investigating further.

You can find information on how to enabled debug logging here: Logging - n8n Documentation

I am also curious about why it only fails for one email or that is how I read the post, who is the mail provider for that address and do you have other emails with the same provider?

Hey @Jon ,

I found the error, when I create a new workflow with the same settings and nodes. It worked. But my old workflow still doesnt work. I dont know why, didnt setup logging since it would take some time…
