We’re facing the same issue — people are giving up on using Confluent Kafka with n8n, which is unfortunate because it makes n8n much more robust. When can we expect a review or update of this component?

I saw that when the consumer is empty it doesn’t work, it seems that the connection drops and the n8n trigger doesn’t reconnect.
When the sender’s partition changes, I saw that his consumer goes from Stable to Empty, then Kafka on n8n dies.
