LangChain Installation on n8n running on npx. How can I access the Lang chain model

I was using docker to run my n8n instance, but each time I restart my docker it would reset and I had to manually set up everything again. (I have a docker volume for the same)
I have tried accessing the Lang chain model on my n8n running on npm but cant access it.
Any help would be helpful

  • **n8n version:1.18.2
  • **Database (default: SQLite):Default
  • n8n EXECUTIONS_PROCESS setting (default: own, main):
  • **Running n8n via (Docker, npm, n8n cloud, desktop app):npm
  • **Operating system:windows

Hey @Imperol,

Welcome to the community :raised_hands:

I would recommend using the docker approach as it has everything you need to get started, If data is going missing it would suggest that the configuration is incorrect maybe it is running as the root user or the data volume is pointing to the wrong path.

If you do want to use npm / npx instead it would be worth using a newer version as it looks like we didn’t add support for LangChain into the main releases until 1.19.0.
