# Language selection

Good afternoon!Can you tell me if there is a language selection feature?This feature may be disabled by default, but it can be enabled.  
I translated the interface into the language I needed, but I would like to have a choice, for example, English and some other language.For example, I can change the theme to dark and light, and there would also be a tab for selecting the language.

HI @Arkadii

I think right now n8n’s interface is only in English by default. You can still add your own translations using the white-labelling feature and set the default language with the N8N\_DEFAULT\_LOCALE environment variable. There isn’t a built-in language switcher yet, so the language is set globally instead of per user.

If you want to change the theme in n8n, click on your profile, go to **Preferences** , and then select your preferred theme.
